Talented winemakers Jascha Oldham-Selak and Sanne Witteveen are the driving force behind Vilaura, a boutique New Zealand producer dedicated exclusively to crafting exceptional méthode traditionnelle wines. Vilaura (a merging of the words Villa and Aura) translates to 'house of energy', and there's certainly plenty of that in these impressive wines. The inaugural 2023 Central Otago Extra Brut Blanc de Noir marks an exciting milestone for Vilaura, completing the third and final region in their impressive méthode traditionnelle collection. Crafted from Gibbston Pinot Noir and aged for a minimum of 36 months on lees, this superb release offers delicate white cherry and yellow plum aromas, with hints of toasted coconut and tropical fruit. Beautifully refined and elegant, with vibrant saline acidity and a crisp, wonderfully dry finish. Serious Kiwi bubbles that are well worth discovering!

The winery writes "Delicate aromas of white cherry and yellow plum on the nose, with toasted coconut husk and tropical fruit on the palette, leading through to a refined but edgy saline acidity. Recently disgorged and finished with 2g/L dosage, distinctly VILAURA in style - a single vineyard Blanc de Noir showcasing the purity and poise of Gibbston Pinot Noir."

N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
