GOLD MEDAL | Sakura Japan Women's Wine Awards 2024

If you're looking for seriously good bubbles without the Champagne price tag, this is an absolute cracker. Veuve d’Argent Blanc de Blancs Brut delivers all the freshness, fizz and easy-drinking appeal you want at a price that makes stocking up a very easy decision.

Bright, crisp and wonderfully refreshing, it bursts onto the palate with lively citrus, green apple and white stonefruit, wrapped up in a fine stream of bubbles. There’s a lovely clean, dry feel through the palate and just enough softness to make it dangerously easy to go back for another glass.

Chill it right down and crack it open whenever the occasion calls for bubbles – celebrations, long lunches, Friday knock-offs or simply because you feel like it. A brilliant-value French fizz that seriously overdelivers for the money.

Tasting Notes

The winery writes "Pale golden robe color with fine bubbles. On the nose, dominant aromas of white-fleshed fruit (apple and pear) with a light floral note. A clean and fresh attack. On the palate this wine is elegant, fresh and light."
