The clever bunch at Unico Zelo have taken their cult Unico Cello limoncello, combined it with fine wine and done all the hard work for you. The result is a bright, zesty ready-to-pour lemon spritz from the Adelaide Hills, sitting at a very cruisy 8% ABV.

The really lovely bit is the story behind those lemons. Unico Cello is made using fruit from a historic 150-year-old South Australian citrus orchard - including perfectly good, wonderfully wonky lemons that supermarkets didn't want. The team committed to buying the crop to help preserve the old trees, then hand-peel the lemons to make their Cello. A very good cause that happens to taste bloody delicious. 

This is summer drinking made exceptionally easy. Big wine glass, plenty of ice, a splash of soda and a sprig of mint. Done. Aperitivo hour without having to pretend you know anything about making cocktails.

Tasting Notes

Bright, fresh and bursting with lemon. Zesty citrus and candied lemon peel meet a softer lemon-curd richness, with a gently herbaceous edge and refreshing, bittersweet finish. Serve over loads of ice, top with soda and call it a spritz.

North Island and South Island

Rural surcharge of $4.99 per case of 12 (or part case).

Hastings & Napier URBAN areas
$6.99 per case of 12 (or part case).

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
