The winery writes "The perfume and spice of Syrah introduce a fruit-dominant, complex wine bursting with intense blueberry/raspberry/blackberry fruit flavours. Supple tannins, crisp acidity, and a touch of toasty oak, combine on the palate to produce succulent, lingering, spicy finish. Released young to emphasise the beautiful perfume and fruit freshness, this wine can happily be enjoyed on its own or partnered with a wide range of foods, particularly red meat dishes, game or pasta."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Ripe, varietal with core of dark black currant and raspberry, some baked versions of the same, then some gentle wood smoke and baked earth qualities. Youthful and enticing. A dry wine touches the palate first then immediately flavours of dark plums and raspberry, then black currant and some baking spice layers from wood. There’s a whisper of reduction adding a stony flinty quality."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
