Te Mata Estate's Coleraine releases are a thing of legend, representing New Zealand winemaking at its absolute pinnacle. Described as "New Zealand's greatest red wine", the name Coleraine is synonymous with power, finesse and length.

This ex-private cellar purchase presents Coleraine enthusiasts with a rare opportunity to add the superb 2014 vintage to their collection. This wine has been cellared with extreme care and is just now entering its optimum drinking window. Buy with complete confidence. 

This wine comes from a recent private cellar purchase. All the wines purchased have been stored in a temperature-controlled wine fridge and we can vouch for their cellar provenance. We have no reason to think that this wine will not be in perfect condition when you open it but, please note that because we were not the original purchaser of this wine, our usual ‘no questions asked’ guarantee does not apply and we are unable to replace or refund your purchase should the wine be faulty in any way.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Following the majestic 2013 offering, this is another phenomenal wine of sophistication and sublime seduction. Fabulous aroma of cassis, cigar box, violet and toasted almond on the nose. The palate delivers awesome concentration and weight, together with silky texture and fleshy mouthfeel, while remaining elegant and refreshing. Tannins are fine, chalky and exquisitely proportioned, making the wine classically structured. Once again Coleraine offers spectacular complexity, refinement and presence with an undeniable potential to evolve magnificently. This is back to back perfection. A blend of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 28% merlot and 12% cabernet franc."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
