Swift Wines are a boutique Hawke's Bay winemaking operation with a focus on producing quality, minimal-intervention wines that let the fruit and varietal character do the talking. And if this 2026 Albariño is anything to go by, they're certainly onto something special.

We were absolutely blown away when we tasted this wine. It's bursting with freshness and personality, delivering a gorgeous combination of juicy citrus, ripe stonefruit and delicate floral notes. There's lovely texture and generosity through the palate, balanced by mouthwatering acidity and that distinctive hint of coastal saltiness on the finish that makes Albariño such an exciting variety. It's bright, beautifully refreshing and has just enough complexity to keep things interesting.

This is exactly the sort of white wine we love discovering. A little different from the usual suspects, wonderfully drinkable and seriously impressive in the glass. Serve it nicely chilled alongside fresh seafood, enjoy it in the summer sunshine or bring a bottle along to your next soirée and watch everyone scramble for the last glass. Highly recommended.

The winery writes "This fun new take on Hawke’s Bay Albariño is vibrant, modern and fresh. Think yellow nectarines, white spice, orange blossom, lifted florals & fresh linen on the nose while the palate is textural & full-bodied… with a hint of saltiness and a lick of oyster shell. Like all Swift vinos, this Albariño is mindfully made using low intervention winemaking practises for maximum expression of place."

Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
