Sherwood Estate started as a husband and wife operation in Waipara in the late 1980s and it's evolved into one of the biggest independent wine operations in the country. They focus on making quality wines with an emphasis on environmental stewardship, having become one of the first Waipara wineries to become accredited with Sustainable Winemaking New Zealand. Their Stratum range is all about fresh, bright, exuberant wines and their 2024 pinot gris release is exactly that.

With lush flavours of ginger spice and pear drop, this textural and flavoursome Waipara Pinot Gris is a must-buy for any fan of aromatic New Zealand whites. This stunner is smooth and juicy with just a kiss of sweetness, but enough freshness and vibrancy to keep things lively. It's fun, fruity and oh so moreish. An excellent release.

Whilst this is a great drop to enjoy on its own, its fruity and exotic flavours make it a great match for Asian cuisine or anything with a hint of chilli. Try it paired with a zingy prawn thai green curry for a warming winter treat.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
