Squawking Magpie's SQM Chardonnay is a limited release, small batch wine crafted from premium vineyard blocks, with every single bottle individually numbered.

100% barrel fermented and matured in a combination of new and older French oak barriques, SQM is loaded with gorgeous flavours of ripe golden peach, buttery richness and luscious butterscotch. It's big, generous and beautifully mouthfilling, with layers of creamy texture, well-integrated oak and a long, satisfying finish.

The excellent 2025 Hawke's Bay vintage has delivered some superb wines, and this is another release we're seriously excited about. With premium Gimblett Gravels pedigree, small batch production and individually numbered bottles, SQM has all the hallmarks of a much more expensive chardonnay.

N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
