Sublime organic Pinot Gris from one of the South Island's finest producers. This is finely balanced wine with layers of spiced pear and citrus flavours - and ethereal palate weight gifted by some barrel fermentation. Textural and lush. Obvious quality.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Flavours of whte fleshed fruits and white spice, nectarine and green pear, some apple and quince. Medium(+-ish) acid line, plenty of lees and spice qualities, nice satin textures and balanced even and persistent flavours. Best drinking from 2024 through 2026."

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Charming and elegantly complex, the bouquet shows grilled apricot, poached pear, orange peel and warm spice aromas, leading to a wonderfully weighted palate delivering richly textured mouthfeel backed by beautifully pitched acidity, finishing splendidly long and satisfying. Certified organic. At its best: now to 2030."

The winery writes "Dense, ripe notes of pear and quince combine beautifully with aromas of spice and ginger. The palate is lush, richand textural, which has been aided by partial barrel fermentation in French oak barrels. A dry wine that finishes with vibrant acidity."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
