Cracking Zinfandel from a winery best known for producing one of California's signature grape varieties. Right in the zone after a couple of years in bottle, the 2022 is generous and beautifully balanced, with luscious blackberry, ripe raspberry and plum layered alongside notes of sweet spice, vanilla and a touch of pepper. Rich enough to satisfy lovers of bold reds, yet smooth and polished enough to pour on almost any occasion. Tremendous buying.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's richly fruited with savoury nuances, showing dark berry, dried herb, cured meat, fennel, and roasted hazelnut aromas. The palate displays succulent fruit flavours, a fleshy texture, and layers of polished tannins, finishing lingering and robust. At its best: now to 2030."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
