Rapaura Springs has built a loyal following for producing consistently excellent Marlborough wines that deliver well above their price point, and this fresh new 2026 Reserve Rosé has already made quite an impression, picking up a prestigious Double Gold Medal at the New Zealand International Wine Show! It means every judge on the tasting panel independently awarded the wine a Gold Medal score. That's a seriously impressive achievement and a very good indication of the quality in the bottle.

Crafted from Marlborough Pinot Noir, this is a fresh, vibrant rosé bursting with summer appeal. It delivers plenty of juicy red berry flavour, delicate floral notes and lovely palate weight. Refreshing acidity keeps everything beautifully balanced, leading to a crisp, lively finish that makes it all too easy to enjoy.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's delightfully fruited and elegantly fragrant on the nose with aromas of sweet strawberry, watermelon, lemon peel, and white flowers. It's fruit-forward and finely flowing in the mouth with a fleshy texture and crisp acidity, leading to a lengthy, refreshing finish. At its best: now to 2028."

The winery writes "This pretty reserve pinot noir rosé is lifted by a dash of pinot gris. Grown in the warmer, inland vineyards of Marlborough's Southern Valleys, the wine offers subtle flavours of summer strawberries and juicy stone fruits. With its cheerful pink colour and refreshing finish, it's best served chilled."
