Pyramid Valley are a boutique producer that focus on creating premium biodynamic wines from their vineyards in North Canterbury and Central Otago. Their pinot noir releases are the 'jewel in the crown' of the Pyramid Valley line up and we're thrilled to have them in store.

This 2021 Central Otago Pinot Noir is medium-bodied and silky with red berry flavours and spicy notes. It's a very classy rendition, with soft tannins and subtle acidity rounding out the package. Stunning.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Wonderful purity of fruit and elegant unfurling of fruit and soil aromas. A wine of time and place with a bouquet releasing scents of black cherry and crushed rocks, vanilla and clove barrel spices and Doris plums, floral and perfumed, youthful and new. As the wine touches the palate flavours of dark cherries and plums emerge alongside dried raspberry and gentle savoury begin to show. Moderate flavours of newish barrel with a gentle dried herb quality, medium+ acid line and an abundance of polished tannins. Complex, dry, well made and lengthy."
The winery writes "Deep crimson in appearance. A complex nose showcasing black cherry, black raspberry, baking spices, vanilla and earthy undertones. Juicy and ripe dark berries balanced by youthful freshness and acidity. Robust tannins offering depth, structure and aging potential."

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
