Another superb release from one of Central Otago's most respected producers. Peregrine has built an outstanding reputation for producing wines of exceptional quality, and this gorgeous 2026 Pinot Gris is another fine example of why.

Made in a beautifully dry style, this is a Pinot Gris with plenty of personality. Generous layers of ripe pear, juicy stonefruit and delicate floral notes come together on a wonderfully textured palate. There's lovely fruit intensity and richness here, but everything is kept beautifully balanced by fresh acidity and a clean, lingering finish. It's elegant, flavoursome and seriously enjoyable drinking.

Peregrine's commitment to organic viticulture really shines through in their wines, and this latest release is no exception. If you enjoy your pinot gris dry, textural and packed with flavour, this is absolutely worth seeking out. Another cracking Central Otago release that gets a big thumbs up from us. Totally recommended!

Cameron Douglas MS writes "A delicious wine with a varietal bouquet of ripe pomaceous fruits, spice and mineral voices of stone and alluvial deposits. A dry wine with just a tickle of sweetness easily contrasted by the acid line and cool climate fruit signatures. Satin mouthfeel with core fruit flavours of pears and apple, lemon and white peppercorn. Lengthy and well made with best drinking form day of purchase through 2031+."

The winery writes "Inviting aromas of orange blossom, pearand ginger open to a luscious palate ofstonefruit and quince, supported bysilky texture and a lingering brown spiceand ginger finish."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
