Serious value for money here. Mount Riley has delivered a beautifully expressive Gewürztraminer that packs plenty of personality into the glass without sacrificing freshness or drinkability.

The nose is immediately inviting, bursting with pure, vibrant fruit alongside delicate floral aromatics. Think ripe lychee, juicy pear and luscious stone fruit, with hints of rose petal and exotic spice adding that unmistakable gewürztraminer character. On the palate it’s rich, silky and generous, with gorgeous fruit weight and texture balanced by a refreshing line of acidity. There’s plenty of flavour, but it never feels heavy or overdone. Instead, everything comes together in a wonderfully harmonious style, finishing soft, fragrant and seriously moreish.

This is a brilliant wine for lovers of aromatic whites and an equally good introduction for anyone yet to discover Gewürztraminer. Serve it nicely chilled alongside Thai or Vietnamese dishes, fragrant curries, pork, chicken or anything with a little heat.
