Classic off-dry Waipara Riesling from this excellent North Canterbury producer. Bright, juicy and wonderfully refreshing, it brings together ripe summer fruit flavours with a lively thread of crisp acidity. Think succulent citrus, fresh stone fruit and a touch of floral lift, all wrapped up in a beautifully balanced, easy-drinking style.

A terrific match with pan-fried white fish, prawns and richer seafood dishes, and a great option alongside lightly spiced Asian-inspired food. Just as good well chilled on its own as an aperitif.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Bright, fresh and youthful with a bouquet of sweet red apple and white pears, there are scents of white flowers and sweet blossoms ten candy. An off-dry expression with a lush and creamy mouthfeel, flavours of apples and pears then citrus and homemade lemonade. Plenty of acidity for freshness and mouthfeel and to contrast the sweetness. Well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2030."

The winery writes "This fruit driven Riesling has lemon and lime aromas with a luscious finish. The palate is rich in both texture and concentration with good balance, acidity and fruit flavour."
