A bright, fresh and enticing chardonnay from one of our favourite North Canterbury producers. Medium to full bodied with stone fruit flavours and oak treatment introducing vanilla / spice notes to the equation. A lovely line of acidity makes this a fresh and vibrant glass of wine. At well under the $20 barrier, this is another value star from Mount Brown.

The winery writes "Medium to full bodied, the palate has good weight with classic citrus fruit flavours."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Bright, fresh, varietal, fruity and enticing bouquet wth aromas of fresh white peach and apple flesh, cashew nut butter -oak, there’s a fine limestone and clay mineral quality along with a saline almost seashell quality. As the wine touches the palate with satin textures these are qucikly replace with the urgency and power of youthful - acidity and a youthful tautness, textures from fine wood tannins and baking spices of oak. The flavours of white fleshed fruits and citrus emerge to coat the mid palate with a light saline quality and plenty of length."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Restrained and elegantly expressed, the bouquet shows Gala apple, nectarine, subtle vanilla and cashew aromas, followed by a beautifully rounded palate offering juicy fruit flavours with smooth texture and bright acidity. Well composed and delightfully appealing."

N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
