Mission Estate have been making wine in Hawke's Bay for a very long time, and they've put plenty of care and attention into this lovely sparkling wine. Made from hand-harvested fruit grown on their historic vineyard, Fête is a fresh, elegant bubbly with a little more going on than you might expect.

A portion of the wine is fermented in French oak barrels and aged for over a year, adding richness and complexity before undergoing a secondary fermentation using the Charmat method.

Delicate aromas of fresh pear and apple lead into a lively palate of lemon and lime, with subtle nutty notes and hints of freshly baked bread adding another layer of interest. Fresh, crisp and nicely balanced, this is a very appealing Hawke's Bay bubbly that's equally at home at a celebration or a casual get-together.

There’s a a touch of fine oatmeal lees which adds breadth and a sound baseline to both the nose and palate. Just dry with a lick of residual sweetness, fruit flavours reflect the bouquet. Crisp and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2026."
