Cameron Douglas MS writes "A classic bouquet of roasted doris plums and blackcurrant fruits, toasty barrel spices of French oak and an earthy dry stone and gravels core. Youthful, enticing and nicely complex. Dry on the palate with plenty of weight and intensity, flavours of dark cherry and baked plums, some clove and toasty vanilla oak qualities and a gravelly soil complexity. Frim tannins and acidity layer in mouthfeel and power leading to a lengthy and persistent finish."
The winery writes "This full-bodied Merlot sourced from the esteemed Gimblet Gravels is opulent with violets, blackberry and boysenberry fruits with dark chocolate and toasty oak notes. Velvety textured, succulent and with a hint of leather."

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
