The Home Block Pinot Noir sits at the heart of the Margrain range and the 2022 is a particularly impressive release. Rich, dark and beautifully expressive, it brings together ripe plum and dark cherry fruit with the savoury, earthy characters that make Martinborough Pinot so compelling. There’s plenty of depth and concentration here, wrapped around a plush, velvety texture and fine structure.

It’s powerful without being heavy, complex without losing its sense of fruit, and already drinking beautifully. A seriously good Martinborough Pinot and another cracking Home Block from Margrain.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Richly fruited and seductively complex, the inviting bouquet reveals dark cherry, thyme, cured meat, dried mushroom, and toasted almond characters. The palate delivers excellent weight, a plump mouthfeel, and plush texture, beautifully framed by tannins that are wonderfully infused, resulting in a structured wine with a sustained, satisfying finish. At its best: now to 2032."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
