Georg Fromm and Hätsch Kalberer met in the late 1980s and decided to create FROMM Winery, with the very first harvest taking place in 1992. Widely regarded as one of Marlborough's finest producers, FROMM's wines exude class and sophistication. This sensual pinot noir is fragrant yet concentrated, with complex notes of dark cherry, herbal overtones and black olive. With fine silky tannins, this is drinking beautifully now but can easily cellar for another five years or more.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "This is sensually composed and expressed showing dark cherry, dried herb, assorted nut and tapenade characters. The wonderfully weighted palate delivers silky texture and flowing mouthfeel, beautifully framed by fine-grained tannins, finishing impressively long and seductive."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Ripe, pure, complex and teases the senses with an engaging bouquet filled with scents of red plum and dark cherry flesh then a lees and fine gunflint quality. Gently fine spices from a barrel layer in adding complexity and charm, plush and equally complex on the palate. Also very youthful with a bright firm texture, contrasting core of fruit and energy. An abndance of fine through moderate tannins, moments of silky texture, contrasting acid line and lengthy variteal finish."
The winery writes "Dense, deep red colour. The nose is concentrated yet fragrant with dark fruit aromas, complex, focused and very expressive. On the palate again concentration without being heavy. An elegant Pinot Noir with beautiful transparency, excellent structure and tension and very fine tannin support in the finish, reflecting one of our most exciting vintages since 2010."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
