The Francis Ford Coppola Winery is a Californian operation owned by the eponymous award-winning filmmaker himself, famous for directing The Godfather trilogy and Apocalypse Now. Coppola has been a household name for generations, and it's safe to say that Francis Ford Coppola Winery has gained icon status.

The wines from the Diamond Collection are carefully produced from grapes all across California with the aim to create wines with immense complexity. This respected, premium styled, richly weighted zinfandel is a Californian classic - spicy and overflowing with lush dark plum characters. A splash of petite sirah was added to the blend to balance the ripe fruit characters with added structure. It's the real deal and comes very highly recommended.

Falstaff writes "Medium carmine garnet, broad ochre rim. Delicately smoky nuances, savoury, red forest berries, red pepper with a small dash of Petite Syrah. Charming and deep on the palate, delicate fruit, round tannins, hints of ripe plums and sweet cherries, mineral finish, already accessible and versatile."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
