These days his focus is on Easthope Winegrowers where he makes small parcel wines of the very highest calibre. The ethos behind Easthope's wines is to put the work in to the vineyard and let the quality of fruit speak for itself - and they have more than achieved that goal. 

This hand picked chenin blanc was whole bunch pressed and then fermented in cast stone egg-shaped tanks, skillfully merging fruit and floral characters with savoury brioche-like notes. This is truly elegant wine that can be enjoyed chilled on a summer's evening or cellared for up to ten years. Sublime.

Tasting Notes

The winery writes "Pale straw with green flashes. The nose bursts with ripe apple, guava, a dusting of spice, and a whisper of almond icing. The palate is textured and concentrated, its length pulled taut by Chenin’s hallmark acidity."

Hastings & Napier URBAN areas
$6.99 per case of 12 (or part case).

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
