The Testify range sits at the top of Daniel Brennan’s Decibel portfolio – small-production wines made with ageing in mind and only released when Daniel believes the fruit is worthy of the label.

And here's something you don't come across every day: a premium Hawke's Bay Chardonnay with around eight years of bottle age already behind it. The 2018 was considered ready to drink several years ago, so this is a fascinating opportunity to see what additional time in bottle has brought to an already rich, complex style. Expect the youthful peach, citrus and stonefruit characters to have moved towards more developed notes of toasted nuts, cream, savoury oak and flint, while that underlying acidity keeps everything together.

Rich, creamy and beautifully developed, with ripe peach and stonefruit layered with vanilla, toasted oak and baked-custard characters. The palate is generous and weighty, with savoury complexity beginning to emerge after eight years of bottle age, while fresh acidity provides balance and carries the wine through a long, satisfying finish.

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
