Crafted using the traditional method from premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Cloudy Bay Pelorus Brut NV has earned its place as one of New Zealand's benchmark sparkling wines. Elegant and refined, it opens with vibrant citrus, crisp green apple and white peach, layered with delicate brioche and toasted almond notes from extended lees ageing.

The palate is beautifully balanced, combining fine, persistent bubbles with bright acidity and a creamy, lingering finish. Sophisticated enough for celebrations, yet equally at home as an aperitif or alongside fresh seafood, Pelorus is a sparkling wine that consistently delivers class in every glass.

A classic big Kiwi sparkler that is jam packed with the big toasty characters that we expect from this brand. Delicious creamy wine with a persistent bead and delicate, slightly citric finish.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Aromas of lemon and apple, a fine lees autolysis, white peach and an overall harmonious elegant synergy. Wonderfully explosive mousse with a youthful fresh energy, quite captivating and fresh with flavours of citrus and white fleshed tree fruits, a core of fine lees and pastry baked goods. Balanced, crisp, refreshing, dry and ready."

Joelle Thomson writes "18.5/20. This wine offers outstanding value for money for a dry, full-bodied, creamy, rich, flavoursome bubbly from Marlborough. It's a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, both of which bring body and citrus appeal to the table in a wine that punches well above its price weight. Pelorus is typically aged on lees for two years before the bubbly is disgorged, corked and labelled. It contains eight grams of dosage per litre, which makes it taste dry with the balance of fresh acidity adding purity and length to every sip."
