The Bergère family has deep roots in Champagne, with vineyards in Fèrebrianges dating back to 1848. Today the estate is in the hands of a new generation, with Adrien Bergère continuing the family's work while putting an increasingly strong focus on individual terroirs and minimal-intervention winemaking. 

Origine is the perfect introduction to the house. A Chardonnay-led blend of 70% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir and 10% Meunier, it draws fruit from Fèrebrianges, Étoges and Congy in the Vallée du Petit Morin. With a low dosage of just 4g/L, there's plenty of freshness and precision here without sacrificing generosity.

The winery writes "Radiant hue with fine bubbles. Delicate nose of white peach and nectarine, typical of the Vallée du Petit Morin terroir. Creamy and well-structured on entry, followed by a lovely liveliness and an intense freshness."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
