Crafted from a selection of the finest grenache noir and syrah sourced from some of the Rhône Valley's most sought-after villages, including Séguret and Sablet, this is a Côtes du Rhône Villages that delivers serious pedigree without the premium price tag. The Villages classification sits above standard Côtes du Rhône, recognising wines from carefully selected villages where tighter regulations and lower yields produce more expressive, higher-quality wines. This stunning Boutinot bottling is a perfect example.

The nose is immediately inviting, bursting with ripe brambly berries, dark cherries and wild herbs, layered with warming notes of star anise, cinnamon and subtle oak spice. The palate is generous and beautifully textured, combining juicy fruit, silky tannins and savoury complexity in a style that's both approachable now and rewarding with food. Produced from 80% grenache noir and 20% syrah, the wine is largely unoaked to preserve freshness and fruit purity, while a small portion spends up to 20 months in barrel to add depth, structure and a subtle layer of complexity. A standout expression that overdelivers for its price, perfect alongside slow-cooked lamb, chargrilled meats, rich pasta dishes, or a hearty winter feast.
