Pouilly-Fumé is typically known for its bright, fruity flavour and hints of smokiness. This lovely glass of pouilly fume delivers just that and more. There's a nice line of minerality and complexity with floral and smoky characters in harmony - definitely a lot going on in the glass here.

A great food wine to pair with seafood dishes or something with a lick of saltiness. Yum!

James Suckling writes "A delicious, sanguine and lively white. It shows aromas of grapefruit, quince peel, fresh herbs and some wet stones. Medium-bodied with bright acidity. Plenty of juicy and succulent character. Refreshing yet serious, with a crisp and flavorful finish."
Wine Enthusiast writes "This is a solid Pouilly-Fumé. The wine has an enticing nose of pink grapefruit, dried lemon peel, green apple and ripe green pear. Bright acidity leads on the palate that balances chalk-dusted orchard fruit and ripe crab apple."

N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
