Sourced from old Mendoza vines on Marlborough’s famed Rapaura Gravels, this is gorgeous, weighty Chardonnay with far more going on than its price tag would suggest. It's brimming with opulent layers of ripe nectarine and citrus, creamy oak and plenty of toasted almond and brioche complexity. It was naturally fermented in French oak and spent 12 months on lees, giving it lovely richness and texture. A clean line of fresh citrusy acidity keeps everything beautifully balanced and finishes things off.

The winery writes "Opens with vibrant aromas of fresh lemon zest and a whisper of flinty minerality. The nose unfolds into a rich bouquet of ripe white nectarine, toasted almond, warm spices, and buttery brioche, subtle vanilla from thoughtful oak aging. A silky and velvety palate, with a generous, mouth-filling texture. Layers of creamy butterscotch and roasted hazelnut are beautifully balanced by a line of citrus driven acidity, giving the wine both energy and elegance. Concentration is exceptional, with purity of fruit that reflects meticulous vineyard work and thoughtful winemaking."

Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
