Considered to be one of New Zealand's finest producers, Astrolabe have built their reputation on consistently producing stunning wines. This Marlborough Pinot Noir is no exception - a generous expression with plenty of weight and complexity. The 2021 is a full bodied wine with round, mouthfilling flavours in the plum, brambly fruit and dark cherry spectrum. The oak component integrates nicely with the fruit, and combines well with the silky and linear tannin structure. Highly recommended.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Complex and develop, an earthy mineral centric bouquet laced with barrel smoke and spices then red berry fruits and dried rose ideas. Delicious, textured, fine grainy tannins, smoky red berry fruit flavours, medium+ acid line and textured fruity mouthfeel. Complex, dry and delicious with a lengthy engaging finish. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030+."
The winery writes "Ripe dark and red cherry, brambly fruits, spice and leather, with a hint of smoky oak. A full-bodied wine with round, mouth-filling flavours of plum, brambly fruit, dark cherry and a hint of savoury herbs. The oak integrates nicely with the fruit and the silky and linear tannin structure. Will reward careful cellaring over several years through the development of bottle age complexities and is already drinking well."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
