A beautifully distinctive take on Pinot Gris from the certified organic Osawa Vineyard in Hawke’s Bay’s Mangatahi Terraces. This is a return to the original vineyard and rows where winemaker Amy Farnsworth made her very first wine - making the 2025 Gris something of a homecoming.

The fruit spends 10 days on skins before being pressed into traditional Tinajas (amphorae) for fermentation and ageing. That gentle maceration gives the wine its gorgeous pale salmon hue, while amphora helps preserve a wonderfully pure and vibrant expression of the fruit.

Fresh and crisp yet creamy and textural, the palate is medium-bodied with a plush mouthfeel and flavours of ripe pear and rock melon, lifted by a subtle touch of ginger spice. There’s plenty of character here, but it remains wonderfully approachable and versatile.

This is a natural wine - don't be worried if there is a bit of sediment at the bottom or if it's bit cloudy, that's how it's supposed to be!

The winemaker writes "This is a fresh & crisp style follwed with a creamy & rich texture. Medium bodied with a plush mouthfeel of pear, rock melon and subtle ginger spice notes. Made to be approachable to all and a pleasure to pair with so many different food types, from fish to charcuterie as well as spicy Asian inspired dishes."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
