Everything tastes very 'together' and the use of new oak in this barrel fermented wine shows skillful restraint. Suckling's wonderful assessment of this special vintage is a credit to the Te Mata team and this is another Te Mata wine that is an absolute bargain by global standards. Bravo.

The elegantly expressed bouquetshows ripe apricot, lemon peel, oatmeal, nougat, biscotti, and fine oak characters with a hint of flint. The palate delivers an impressive drive and flow, complemented by a richly textured mouthfeel and perfectly pitched acidity, finishing expansive and engaging."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
