It's a complex, barrel fermented style with an ethereal texture and wonderful persistence. Tight, creamy acidity keeps the finish clean and fresh.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "True to the style and quality of previous vintages this wine is complex and enticing, complex and just arriving at the window of drinking. Aromas of fresh and roasted peaches, red apple and banana, some roasted nut and barrel spice, a gentle wood smoke and layer of baked stone earth ideas. Full-bodied and creamy as the wine touches the palate, the acid line offers contrast as well as carrying the core flavours of fruit with spices from barrel and earth and a smoky leesy quality. Well made, lengthy, nicely rich and not overdone. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2032+."
