Sherwood Estate started as a husband and wife operation in Waipara in the late 1980s and it's evolved into one of the biggest independent wine operations in the country. They focus on making quality wines with an emphasis on environmental stewardship, having become one of the first Waipara wineries to become accredited with Sustainable Winemaking New Zealand.

Their Stratum range is all about fresh, bright, exuberant wines and their 2023 riesling release is exactly that. Vinted in a medium-dry style, with vibrant citrus notes on the palate, this is an excellent option for riesling fans. Enjoy as an aperitif or match with spicy Asian dishes.

The winery writes "A well-balanced Riesling, full of flavour in a medium-dry style. Elegant fruit flavours of lemon and lime make this wine great with spicy food."

Rural surcharge of $4.99 per case of 12 (or part case).

Hastings & Napier URBAN areas
$6.99 per case of 12 (or part case).

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
