A superstar. Black Cottage was a huge hit with the Advintage Sauvignon Faithful last year and we know that this wonderful 2023 release will be the same. It's a gorgeous, premium styled Marlborough Sauvignon from talented winemaker David Clouston. This is a finely concentrated, soft-textured, powerfully fruited sauvignon with a good line of gooseberry and passionfruit flavours. One thing's for sure - anyone who likes sauvignon blanc will love Black Cottage.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Generous, pungent and fragrant bouquet with classic scents of fresh herbs and fruit spices, wet stone, pineapple and citrus zest. On the palate a dry wine with an equally powerful appeal, flavours of apples and pineapple, lemon and cape gooseberry, fresh basil and crushed wet stones."
Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is fresh, with clean aromas of gooseberry, pineapple, elderflower and hints of capsicum. Medium-light bodied, aromas of gooseberry and pineapple melded with a lime zest, elderflower and subtle green capsicum. The wine is cleansing and pure with soft, juicy acidity. Lime zest and elderflower fragrance lift the wine, unfolding a hint of saline and a refreshing closing."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's intensely aromatic on the nose, showing feijoa, golden kiwifruit, kaffir lime and jasmine aromas, leading to a flavoursome palate that's punchy and tasty. As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
