2021 was an excellent vintage in Marlborough, and this important wine shows what a crack winemaking team is capable of when all the stars align. Rich and refined, it brims with ripe stonefruit, layers of toasty French oak ( a huge 44% new barrels) , and creamy depth, all beautifully balanced by the mineral freshness that defines great Marlborough Chardonnay.

The winemaker writes "This is a mineral-driven style of chardonnay, showcasing complex aromas of brioche, gun-smoke and ripe lemon rind that are distinctive from the stony Taylors Pass Vineyard. This elegant chardonnay expresses flavours of grapefruit, fig, quince and roasted almonds with a restrained and focused acidity on the finish."

N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
