Fantastic release from Elephant Hill. Silky, refined and dry. Very well balanced with fresh fruit and lovely acidity. Get a deli platter together, some friends around and hit the deck immediately.

100% tempranillo.Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Restrained and taut, the finely scented bouquet shows pomegranate, lemon/lime zest, green apple, and jasmine nuances, leading to a juicy palate that's sleek and linear. Pristine and elegant with lively acidity, making it crisp-dry and refreshing. At its best: now to 2027."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Great colour and polished appearance leads to a bout of tamarillo and raspberry, some red tea then a mineral quality suggesting crumbled stone. Delicious and dry on the palate with flavours of red berries and red tree fruits, tannins and acidity make an impact with texture and crispness. A lovely example in a dry aperitif style, though also great with myriad food options. Best drinking from day of purchase through end of summer 2027."
Stephen Wong MW writes "Peachy-pink. A distinctly spicy nose with wild berry fruit, liquorice, Irish Moss and blackcurrant aromas. The palate has pastille-like concentration and is packed with flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant and spice. Medium bodied, with a phenolic shape and a textured, dry finish trimmed in light, fine tannins. The flavours straddle fruit and savoury, resulting in a food-friendly wine."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
