Tasting Notes

Dark plum, black cherry and black olive tapenade with complexing mushroom and fresh sage combined with vanilla pod oak. The palate is rich in dark fruits, fresh strawberries and cassis. The tannins are poised and silky and finishes with notes of dried herbs and cedar.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Red berry fruit aromas and flavours, dark raspberry then plum, black cherry skin then boysenberry. On the palate there’s a mix of ripe and tart fruits delivering a distinctive mouthfeel and salivating freshness. Fruit tannins and acidity frame the core fruit flavours well, there’s persistency and freshness. Some leesy baking spice ideas, a low oak intervention means this is a wine to enjoy from day of purchase through 2028+."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
