Tasting Notes

Cameron Douglas MS writes "A core of purple and Ruby leading to a pink ruby rim. Lots of concentration and power with aromas and flavors of Doris plum skin, black currant, a mix of baking spices led by clove then vanilla, then a toasty wood smoke layer. Gravel-stony soil’s with a clay component scents, polished tannins are in abundance, a backbone of acidity. Delicious, balanced and well made, a wine ready for drinking from day of purchase through 2032."

The winery writes "Deep colour with complex dark plum and berry fruit characters along with subtle notes of violets. Well balanced, with supple tannins and mouth-filling flavour. It will evolve over a decade or more in the cellar."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
