The nose is softly full with opulent and lifted ripe fruit aromas of black and blue berries, along with black plums, liquorice and spices. Waves of ethereal richness unfold, revealing a deep and densely concentrated heart of iron and earth, black minerals and Asian spices. Full-bodied, the palate features mouthfilling, broad and succulently rich flavours of sweetly ripe black and blue fruits, spicy plums and liquorice, along with nuances of cedary oak. The fruit has concentration, density and depth, with very fine-grained, flowery tannins that build to balance the fruit sweetness, providing plenty of structure. The acidity is ripe and soft, lending energy and drive. The fruit richness grows as the wine flows to a very long and sustained, textural finish. This is a rich opulent, succulent Merlot-blend with full structure and ripe black, blue and spicy fruit."
