Winery Retiring: The End of an Era for this Iconic Winery

As the winery winds down, a unique opportunity exists to purchase the final vintages of some of Millton's iconic wines.

A note from the winery: “After more than 41 vintages, we have chosen to retire both the Vineyard and ourselves and now look forward to spending more time with our family. After more than four decades of caring for the land, pioneering organics and biodynamics, and crafting wines with integrity, The Millton Vineyard will no longer be producing the quality wines we are renowned for."

Vinted primarily from syrah, with a splash of malbec adding some extra palate depth and some darker fruit flavours, this is a lovely example of East Coast red that's been vinted as a lightly spicy 'pleasure wine.'  Te Arai Red is a typically well-made, thoughtfully concieved wine from Millton. Fruit was hand harvested and this 2023 release enjoyed 18 months in French oak post fermentation. If you're looking for a not too heavy / not too light red wine option for the remainder of summer 2026, this lovely wine is a seriously attractive option. Climb in.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
