The quirky Durvillea name comes from a seaweed variety Waghorn, a seaweed geek(!), studied at University. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly.

Tasting Notes

The winery writes "A pretty, aromatic nose with notes of pomegranate molasses, red delicious toffee apple, strawberry conserve and crab apple jelly. A round mouthfeel, with a smooth and ethereal texture. This wine is bone dry with delicately balanced acidity.Perfect as an aperitif. Pairs well with halloumi or goat’s cheese salads, or lightly grilled fish and seafood, and melon with prosciutto."

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
