The name Bilancia (Libra in Italian) came to winemaker Warren Gibson whilst reading his horoscope during a harvest in Italy, and his winemaking philosophy centres on balance, equilibrium and harmony.

Warren & Lorraine share a wealth of winemaking experience between them and this expertise shows, as Bilancia has been producing award winning wines since 1997. This syrah is no exception with aromatic flavours of plum, blackberry and silky, soft tannins. A true beauty from two Hawke's Bay winemaking legends.

Tasting Notes

The winery writes "The wine shows lifted berry fruits and plums with theunderlying, distinctive Hawke’s Bay spice. A great wine foropening on release, the 2025 Syrah is a vibrant, youthful wineand can be enjoyed immediately but it will also continue todevelop over the next four to six years. It can be enjoyedslightly chilled."

Hastings & Napier URBAN areas
$6.99 per case of 12 (or part case).

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
