Tasting Notes

The winery writes "An immediate bouquet of forest fruit (wild strawberriesand raspberries) and citrus (blood orange) with somezesty and powdery petal-like notes (rose-flavouredmacaroons). Upon aeration, the citrus fruit gives wayto iodised and chocolate nuances with a few spicy andresinous (cedar) overtones.The palate is caressingly soft, delicious, delicate andelegant. We have the sensation of a silky texture thatsoftly evaporates to give way to a cloud of delicateand slightly spicy perfumes. The fruit is concentratedand almost liqueur-like on the mid-palate where it isenergised by the fresh and iodised flavours. On thefinish, the delectable chocolate nuances combine withthe chalky freshness to create a lingering and pureimpression of salinity."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
