From a house that helped define modern Rhône excellence, Guigal’s Gigondas 2021 is a confident, characterful take on this rugged southern appellation.

Built on a classic blend of 70% grenache, 20% syrah and 10% mourvèdre, it leans into Gigondas’ wild side - think sun-warmed berries, crushed herbs, and a hint of earthy spice. There’s richness here, but it’s kept in check by structure and a quiet savoury thread that runs through the palate. The tannins are firm but polished, giving the wine shape without weighing it down.

The winery writes "Purple hue. Intense nose dominated by peach and apricot with liquorice and notes of undergrowth. Generous, powerful and full-bodied with a long elegant finish. A frank attack, racy with soft tannic structure."

Hastings & Napier URBAN areas
$6.99 per case of 12 (or part case).

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
