Swift Wines Chardonnay 2024

Swift Wines Chardonnay 2024

$37.99

Swift Wines are a boutique Hawke's Bay winemaking operation with a focus on producing quality, minimal-intervention wines that let the fruit and varietal character do the talking. It's an approach that's clearly paying off, with their 2021 Chardonnay selected as one of just 12 wines in the prestigious Hawke's Bay Annual Chardonnay Selection.

Now comes the 2024 release, and there's every reason to be excited. Fresh, vibrant and beautifully approachable, this is a Chardonnay that puts fruit purity and drinkability front and centre. There's a lovely sense of balance and freshness here, making it a thoroughly enjoyable expression of Hawke's Bay Chardonnay.

Swift Wines are a producer well worth keeping an eye on, and this latest release is another compelling reason to get them on your radar. A cracking chardonnay from a small producer making some serious moves.

Tasting Notes

The winery writes "Our 2024 Chardonnay is fermented naturally under a watchful eye. It’s layered, energetic and fresh — bursting with aromas of ripe stone fruit, juicy citrus, red apple, floral, and a touch of nuttiness. A brilliant acidity carries spice throughout the palate and leaves you with a lightly creamy mouthfeel."
