Crafted in Byron Bay, Papa Salt is an easy-drinking premium gin inspired by long afternoons, warm coastlines, and the relaxed spirit of the Australian east coast.

Initially created as a passion project between Margot Robbie and four close friends, Papa Salt was never meant to be just another celebrity gin. They wanted to create the gin they could drink all day in backyard, then all night around the kitchen. Something bright, coastal and beautifully balanced. Something premium, but not precious. Something refreshing enough for a long G&T in the sun, but complex enough to hold its own in a martini.

Getting there took five years, plenty of experimentation, and 59 recipe iterations before the final liquid was locked in. The result is a gin that feels distinctly Australian, built around native botanicals, soft citrus, gentle florals, savoury depth, and a subtle coastal minerality that gives it a clean, refreshing finish.

Papa Salt has already proven it is far more than a famous-name bottle. With a Platinum Award and Best Gin title at the L.A. Spirits Awards, followed by Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, this Byron Bay gin has earned serious recognition on the world stage.

Papa Salt's incredibly well-rounded flavour profile celebrates the subtle taste of native Australian botanicals. The gin is bright with a zesty hit of wax flower, hibiscus and citrus peel - which is balanced with subtle hints of Australian wattleseed, a touch of welcome spice from pink peppercorns and completed with the unmistakable minerality from a hint of oyster shell.

A change to the licencing laws means we can no longer advertise discounts on our website that show savings of 25% or more off the recommended retail product price. Products on this site will still be as sharply priced as they have always been. We simply can no longer tell you when savings of over 25% are on offer. As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
