Taylor’s is one of the world’s most recognised and respected Port houses, with centuries of experience behind its exceptional aged Tawny Ports. Their 20 Year Old Tawny is a beautifully mature expression, blended from wines aged for an average of two decades in seasoned oak casks.

Rich, mellow and wonderfully complex, it delivers layers of dried fruit, fig and raisin alongside roasted nuts, caramel and warming spice. There’s plenty of richness, but also a lovely freshness that keeps everything beautifully balanced. Time in barrel has softened the wine into a silky, seamless style, with those fruity and nutty characters lingering through a long, elegant finish.

Powerful enough to make a statement yet remarkably smooth and refined, this is a seriously classy way to finish a meal. Superb alongside mature cheese, nuts or a decadent dessert, and equally good slowly savoured on its own.

Mark Squires, Wine Advocate writes "On first taste, this was simply Taylor: big, concentrated and serious. It was all that and a bag of chips, but over a couple of days it also demonstrated far more elegance. It seemed arguably better balanced than the 10 year old Tawny this issue. Simply filling the mouth on first taste, this shows fine complexity for its age and it does everything else rather brilliantly. Succulent and inviting, it finishes with waves of concentrated flavors. The fruit remains lifted and and it has a bright, transparent feel. It is hard to resist, often seeming like a bit of an overachiever."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
