A powerful Portuguese red crafted from native varieties touriga nacional, touriga franca and tinta roriz, the Casa Santos Touriz 2014 delivers depth, richness and elegance in equal measure. Expect intense aromas of cherries, plums and blackcurrant, leading to a concentrated palate layered with ripe dark fruit and subtle oak complexity. A period of ageing in Portuguese oak brings structure and a long, persistent finish with polished tannins.

The winery writes "This wine is a strong and powerful wine with rich aromas (cherries, plums and blackcurrant) but, very well balanced and complete. In the palate it is very concentrated ands complex, with ripe fruit notes. The long period of ageing in Portuguese oak, gives to this wine a very persistent ending, with elegant tannins."

N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
