The name Bilancia (Libra in Italian) came to winemaker Warren Gibson whilst reading his horoscope during a harvest in Italy, and his winemaking philosophy centres on balance, equilibrium and harmony. With a team like Warren Gibson and Lorraine Leheney driving Trelinnoe's development, this flagship label will always be one to watch and this 2020 release is looking exceptional. 

This is a single-vineyard syrah from Trelinnoe (tree-lin-o) Vineyard on Roys Hill. Hand-picked in the outstanding 2020 Hawke’s Bay vintage, this wine spent nearly three years in oak before bottling in February 2023. Brooding and structured, it shows dark fruits, Hawke’s Bay spice, and layered complexity with minimal oak influence. Distinct from its nearby la collina neighbour, Trelinnoe offers a unique tannin profile and a powerful, youthful depth that promises exceptional ageing.

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
