The previous vintages have always cleaned up at the award rounds and cement this classic wine's reputation as one of Central's most consistently awarded Pinot Noirs. The 2023 is yet another showstopper - loaded with dark berry fruits, classic Central Otago savoury characters and pillow soft tannins. Gorgeous wine.

The palate exhibits juicy red fruits, while on the palate toasty oak and spice characters give complexity and texture. Soft, light tannins compliment the classic Central Otago savoury characteristics, leading to a lengthy, full finish. A delightful expression of Central Otago Pinot Noir from this highly respected producer.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "A bouquet and palate of ripe red berry fruit, dark cherry and Doris plums, there’s a fine savoury dried herb quality layering in complexity, and breadth on the palate. Dry, taut, fruity, varietal and new with vibrant textures from tannins and acidity. Core red fruit flavours are persistent and the acidity carries a touch of saline effect adding to the juicy and fleshy finish. Best drinking from late 2025 through 2030."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
